Casa Hormiga was built with local materials following the teachings of the spirit of Nature. During the process we were inspired by Wabi-Sabi philosophy -aesthetic Japanese concept which finds beauty in nature’s imperfection
and impermanence. We let the roots, leaves and tree branches to guide us.
